About the chamber.
The Libby Area Chamber of Commerce is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization, proudly serving the community since receiving our official status in August of 1944.
In addition to supporting the local business community, the Chamber also operates as the official Visitor Information Center for the Kootenai River Valley. Our Chamber building is more than just an office, it’s a welcoming hub where travelers and locals alike can find resources, maps, and guidance on everything our region has to offer, from outdoor adventures to local shops, events, and attractions.

How We Operate
Each year, membership and fundraising provide essential support for the Chamber’s programs and services. These funds allow us to:
- Offer resources and connections for local businesses
- Host events that promote community involvement and tourism
- Advocate for economic development and business-friendly policies
- Support projects that benefit both residents and visitors
